Tripura Natural Gas Company Limited (TNGCL) has invited online applications for 3 executive posts at Agartala: Deputy General Manager (O&M), Assistant Manager (BIS) and Assistant Manager (Fire & Safety).

Only full-time regular courses count (CA/CMA is the printed exception; it is not the route for these three posts). A 5-year integrated B.E./B.Tech + M.E./M. Experience is counted as on 31 August 2026, including time as GET, ET or MT. Apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 can count if you hold certificates from both the statutory body and the training organisation. Industrial, vocational or articleship training that was part of the course curriculum does not count. Clause 2.14 gives preference to city gas distribution or oil and gas experience. For the DGM post, five years in city gas distribution is mandatory, not a preference.

What Posts Are Available? – TNGCL Vacancy & Eligibility 2026

Two of the three seats are unreserved. The only reserved seat is Assistant Manager (BIS), and it is reserved for OBC-NCL. No PwBD seat is reserved in the vacancy column. PwBD candidates in a category for which the post is identified may still apply and be considered on general merit. The notice points to Table-I for identification. The vacancy column itself prints only UR or OBC-NCL.

What Is the Age Limit?

Age is reckoned as on 31 August 2026.

Table-III prints SC/ST 5 years, OBC-NCL 3 years and PwBD 10 years. The opening line of that table limits SC/ST and OBC-NCL relaxation to posts reserved for that category. PwBD relaxation applies even if the post is not reserved, provided the post is identified as suitable for that disability (clause 4.2). Candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir between 01 January 1980 and 31 December 1989 get 5 years. An ex-serviceman with at least six months of continuous service in the Armed Forces may deduct that service, if the age after deduction does not exceed the prescribed maximum by more than 3 years. Including every relaxation, age must not exceed 56 years.

SC, ST and PwBD applicants get 55% in place of 60% only where the relaxation applies. Clause 3.3 withdraws that marks relaxation on an unreserved post.

What Is the Salary? – TNGCL DGM & Assistant Manager 2026

The advertisement prints annual CTC only. It does not print basic pay, IDA, HRA, allowances or an in-hand figure.
