Frequently Asked Questions
Age for government jobs is always calculated as on the official Cut-off Date or Crucial Date mentioned in the notification PDF, never on the date you fill the form or appear for the exam. For example, if the notification says Age as on 01 August 2026, your age on that exact date determines eligibility. Being even one day over the maximum age limit on the cut-off date makes you ineligible, regardless of when you applied. Always use your Date of Birth as per your Class 10th Matriculation certificate, as that is the document accepted by all exam authorities.
