The Office of the CDPO, B.K. Pora, District Budgam, under Mission POSHAN / Integrated Child Development Services, Social Welfare Department, Government of Jammu and Kashmir, has issued two re-advertisements dated 15 September 2026: Notice No. 04 of 2026 (4 Sahayika seats) and Notice No. 05 of 2026 (3 Sahayika seats). Combined, 7 honorary Helper seats are open.

Applications are accepted offline from 18 September 2026 to 29 September 2026 at the CDPO B.K. Pora office. Only women who live in the notified electoral ward of each centre, hold J&K domicile, and meet the standing POSHAN Helper rules in Govt. Order No. 222-JK (SWD) of 2022 and Govt. Order No. 103-JK (SWD) of 2023 should apply. This is not a JKSSB permanent vacancy.

Who Should Apply?

• Matric (10th pass) women, 18–37 years, J&K domicile, resident of the notified electoral ward → Sahayika (Anganwadi Helper) – 7 centre-wise seats

What Is the Sahayika Honorarium in Budgam?

Claim + proof: ₹2,550 per month is the Helper rate printed in 2026 POSHAN project advertisements that cite the same Govt. Order No. 222-JK (SWD) of 2022 and Govt. Order No. 103-JK (SWD) of 2023 (Sangini / Worker is listed at ₹5,100 in those same ads). The B.K. Pora re-ad itself does not reprint the rupee figure. Confirm the amount on the engagement order before you plan household income.

This is an honorarium, not 7th CPC salary. There is no Level-1 basic, no DA slab, and no HRA city class. Do not compare the in-hand figure with a JKSSB Class-IV or MTS payslip.

Honorarium is payable subject to attendance, applicable POSHAN rules and continuation of the centre engagement. It is not a guaranteed private-job CTC.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

1. Applying from a neighbouring ward because “Budgam is the same district.” The unit of selection is the electoral ward of that centre.
2. Treating this as a 10+2 Sangini (Worker) vacancy. Helper minimum is Matric; Worker is a different advertisement.

How Are Anganwadi Helpers Selected?

Selection is a sequence of checks, not a single exam day.

1. Ward-wise scrutiny of forms at CDPO B.K. Pora (gender, age, domicile, ward residence, qualification).
2. Merit list on Class 10 marks, as directed in SWD-ICDS/43/2022 dated 14 August 2023 and used in 2026 POSHAN Helper ads. No written CBT is mentioned in the re-ad.

POSHAN Project B.K. Pora is the field unit of Mission POSHAN / ICDS in the Bagati Kanipora belt of District Budgam. ICDS, run by the Social Welfare Department of the Government of Jammu and Kashmir, delivers supplementary nutrition, pre-school activity, immunisation follow-up and counselling for children under six and for pregnant and lactating women.
