The Reserve Bank of India released the Report of the Advisory Committee on Ways and Means Advances to State Governments (Chair: I. S. N. Prasad). [Official] DGCA Issues Gyroplane Pilot Training Syllabus

The Directorate General of Civil Aviation, under the Ministry of Civil Aviation, issued a new Civil Aviation Requirement titled “Ground and Flying Training Syllabus for Issue of Pilot Licence for Gyroplanes” (Section 7, Series B, Part XXI). The CAR sets out ground and flying training for a DGCA licence in the gyroplane category. Officials described it as a first step toward gyroplane operations in India; training organisations and manufacturing capacity still have to be built. Gyroplanes use an unpowered rotor for lift and a propeller for thrust.

[Official] Pashudhan Bima Portal Launched for Livestock Insurance
