Who Should Apply?

How Are Candidates Selected?
The examination consists of three papers. The Commission will first hold Paper-I (General English, 100 marks) in Kolkata. On the basis of the results, a limited number of candidates will be allowed to appear for Paper-II (Dictation and Transcription, 400 marks) and Paper-III (Computer Typing, 100 marks).
The final merit list is prepared on the aggregate marks of all three papers. The Commission fixes qualifying marks in each paper separately and in the aggregate, and may relax them for reserved-category candidates of West Bengal (including PwBD and MSP).
