This cycle is smaller than the amended MODRE-2024 drive of 1,700 posts, but it is still a regular state health cadre intake, not an NHM contract. MBBS is mandatory. In-hand, stated honestly

• Probation: take-home is close to the fixed ₹56,700 figure, minus statutory deductions printed in the appointment / pay-fixation order.
• After confirmation: gross rises when DA and HRA start. Jaipur is a Y-class city (20% HRA in the central classification). District HQ and smaller towns are often Z-class (10% HRA).
• Do not budget for central 7th CPC in-hand as a guarantee. Rajasthan DA and doctor-specific allowances follow state orders.

Common Mistakes to Avoid

1. Leaving RMC for later. Registration must exist by the exam date, not by joining. Start the RMC file now if you hold only another state council or NMC registration.
2. Claiming Rajasthan reservation without a valid state certificate. Out-of-state MBBS doctors are UR for this drive.
3. Treating ruhsraj.org homepage as the form. The form lives on ruhsmomedical.com.
4. Uploading oversized or cropped photos. The portal asks for a photograph, signature and both thumb impressions in a tight size band (commonly 50–200 KB JPEG). Resize before upload.

How Are Candidates Selected?

Selection is a multi-step process, not marks-on-paper equal to a joining letter.

1. Online application scrutiny on the RUHS portal.
2. Written examination (Direct Recruitment Examination). Later booklet-era reports describe an offline OMR paper of 100 MCQs, 100 marks, 2 hours, no negative marking. Confirm the printed pattern in the Information Booklet.
3. Merit list prepared by RUHS from written-exam marks, subject to reservation roster.
4. Document verification of MBBS, internship, RMC, category, widow/deserted status and identity.
