• B.E./B.Tech (Civil Engineering), full-time, with 5 years in design of highway bridges/ROBs/RUBs/flyovers/VUPs and at least 2 years in structural health assessment & rehabilitation; STAAD Pro / MIDAS / SOFISTIK / LUSAS or equivalent → Manager / Structural Engineer (Highway Design) – 1 post (UR). Desirable: extra-dosed/cable-stayed/suspension/balanced cantilever work; M.Tech (Bridge & Structural Engineering).
• B.E./B.Tech (Civil Engineering), full-time, with 5 years in highway geometric / pavement/junction design as per IRC/AASHTO/British or other international standards; AutoCAD Civil 3D and IIT PAVE → Manager / Highway Design Engineer – 1 post (UR). Seven regular seats sit in one highway-design cluster. Four of the seven are Unreserved. One Assistant Manager Highway seat is OBC-NCL and one Assistant Manager Structural seat is ST. Marks rule: UR/EWS candidates, and reserved candidates applying against UR posts need first class or 60% in the qualifying degree. Reserved candidates against reserved posts need at least 50%. If the marksheet has only CGPA, upload the university conversion formula. If none exists, a 6.0/10 is treated as 60% after an institute undertaking. PwBD relaxation of 10 years applies even if the post is unreserved, provided the post is identified suitable (OA, OL, HI for Civil). What Is the Salary for Highway Design Posts?

RITES will fix pay at the minimum of the IDA scale. This is not 7th CPC. Allowances include DA, fixed/variable allowances applicable to the scale, Performance Related Pay, medical facilities, HRA or leased accommodation, PF, gratuity as per the Gratuity Act, and a post-retirement medical scheme. Leaves, maternity/paternity leave, group insurance and leave encashment follow regular-employee rules.

Indicative in-hand = basic + IDA DA + HRA/lease minus PF and tax. Gurgaon HRA class and the exact DA rate on the joining month will change the number. These ranges are estimates, not an official salary slip. Calculate a working figure with the PSU Pay Calculator (IDA Pattern).

Employees joining from other PSUs or Government organisations who applied through proper channel or produced NOC at interview can get protection of Basic + DA as per company policy.

What Is the Application Fee?

Pay only through the online application gateway. Any other mode is treated as no fee and the form is rejected.

SC/ST/PwBD candidates who pay the concessional fee and later take part in the written test or interview (as applicable) get a refund to the same source account or card, after GST/bank charges and after caste/disability certificate scrutiny. Upload the certificate on the portal at the time of payment if you want that refund.

How to Apply?

Submit a separate online application for each VC number. One form covers one vacancy. A submitted form cannot be edited.

1. Open the RITES Career Section (Career → current regular Engineering Professionals advertisement for VC RG/25/26 to RG/29/26).
2. Register and note the Registration Number shown on the form. Quote it in every mail to RITES.
3. Fill personal, qualification, category and experience details exactly as on your certificates.
4. Under “Upload Document”, attach every proof listed below. Unclear scans can cancel the candidature.
5. Resize photo and signature first with the Photo & Signature Resizer.
6. Pay the fee under “Make Payment”. Forms without successful payment are rejected.
7. Download the final application. Print and sign it. Carry it to document verification if called.

Written tests for Manager and Assistant Manager posts are on the same date and time. Do not apply for two written-test posts expecting two different exam slots.

1. Uploading only an offer letter as experience. RITES will not count it without joining, relieving and pay-slip proof.
2. Treating a Master’s degree as mandatory and not applying. The PG is desirable only.
