Directorate General Assam Rifles will enrol 354 combatised Group C men as Rifleman, Warrant Officer and Havildar across 17 trades.

How Are Candidates Selected?

Selection is a chain of stages. Clearing PET does not mean appointment.

1. RFID-based Physical Standard Test (PST) and Physical Efficiency Test (PET) at Jorhat or Diphu, Assam
2. Initial documentation at the rally
3. Computer-Based Test (CBT) of 100 marks
4. Skill-based Trade Test (computer + practical) for those shortlisted
5. Document verification
6. Detailed Medical Examination, then Review Medical Examination if declared unfit
7. Trade- and category-wise merit list and call for training

No interview stage is mentioned in the current notification. Selection after the physical gate is driven by CBT merit, subject to a qualifying trade test, medical fitness and the reservation roster.
