Who Should Apply?

• PG Diploma / Master’s in Rural Development, Women Studies, Rural Management or Social Work from a premier institute + 5 years (2 years managerial in research or documentation) → State Project Manager (Monitoring & Evaluation) – 1 post. Exposure to log-frame monitoring and evaluation is preferred, not mandatory.
• Degree in communications, media studies, information technology, or equivalent, from a premier institute + 5 years (2 years managerial in communication and documentation support in rural development) → State Project Manager (Communication & Documentation) – 1 post. What Posts Are Available? – WCDC Vacancy & Eligibility 2026

Assistant is the only post with a category split, and two of those four seats are reserved for women. Both manager posts and the Accountant post are single Unreserved seats. A candidate from outside Bihar can apply, but only in Unreserved.

No SC, ST, BC or EWS column is printed for these seven seats. EWS benefit is mentioned only as a rule for claimants: without the income-and-asset certificate and the permanent residence certificate, EWS benefit is not given.

What Is the Age Limit?

Age is counted on the date this advertisement was published. The notice does not print a separate calendar cut-off.

Category benefit, including these higher age bands, is only for permanent residents of Bihar. Applicants from other states are treated as Unreserved. WCDC scores each candidate out of 100, then may call a category-wise shortlist for a written exam, counselling or interview.

Experience marks are 5 for each year beyond the minimum required, up to 25. NGO experience gets no marks.
