Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Filing one Google Form for two departments. The notice says apply separately for each post.
- Using an OBC-NCL certificate issued outside 01 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. Only FY 2026-27 certificates are valid.
- Applying when the PG result will come after 17 September 2026. That candidature is cancelled even if you sit the interview.
- Skipping the UTR number on the form after NEFT.
- Assuming NMC registration must exist on the form date. It is required before joining; still start the process now if your state council is slow.
- Treating this as a regular AIIMS faculty job with NPS and promotion.

Service Conditions
Appointment follows the Govt. of India Residency Scheme. Initial tenure is one year. Extension can run to a maximum of three years if the competent authority approves and performance is satisfactory. Earlier government SR time, regular or ad-hoc, is deducted from those three years.
The institute may terminate the engagement with one month’s notice or one month’s pay. You have the same right. Whole-time appointment: no private practice, no other paid assignment. Extra duties may be given without extra allowance.
If you resign or seek another job within the first three months, AIIMS Nagpur will not issue an NOC, relieving letter or experience certificate. Leave follows DoPT OMs dated 12 April 1985 and 05 July 1990. Disputes fall under Nagpur courts.

- You attend the interview and document verification with Annexure-I and originals.
- A Medical Board declares you fit.
- Credentials (education and personal) are verified; the offer stays provisional till then.
- You join on a one-year residency order at MIHAN, Nagpur. Remaining SR years from other government hospitals are cut from the three-year cap.
- After a satisfactory year, tenure may be extended up to the three-year maximum. There is no automatic absorption into Assistant Professor or regular cadre.
