• No valid KARTET / CTET paper where that cadre’s gazette makes TET compulsory
• Age above the absolute maximum printed for your category in that gazette

Who Is Eligible?

What Is the Teacher Salary in Karnataka?

These are regular state government teacher posts, not guest honorarium posts and not central 7th CPC Level posts. Pay follows Karnataka state teacher scales plus DA, HRA and other state allowances.

Public summaries of this cycle quote a wide band of about ₹44,425–₹99,400 across cadres. Treat that band as indicative until your appointment order prints the scale.

What Is the Application Fee?

Pay only inside the GSTR-2026 form. The fee is generally non-refundable. If the live form shows a different amount, the form wins.

How to Apply?

Applications are accepted only online. Do not post a paper form to the department.

1. Open the GSTR-2026 registration portal (open until 25 September 2026).
2. New users register with a mobile number starting with 6, 7, 8 or 9, a working email, and a password with letters, a number and a special character. OTP is sent to that mobile.
3. Enter SSLC details. If you passed KSEEB / KSEAB, use the fetch option. If you passed before 2003, the form asks you to type marks manually.
4. Log in and choose cadre (PST, PE-Grade-II, GPT, AM, CST, PE-Grade-I), district, KK or NKK list, subject and reservation.
5. Fill in the personal, education, TET and training fields exactly as on certificates.
6. Upload photo and signature in the size the form shows. Resize first with the Photo & Signature Resizer.
7. Pay the fee on the same portal and wait for the success receipt.
8. Submit, download the acknowledgement, and print it. That number is not the same as your TET number.

If you are eligible for more than one cadre, follow the form. Some notices allow a second post in the same cadre with an extra fee. Do not invent a second login for the same post. Where a notice says only the last submitted application will be considered, that wording controls; an earlier fee is usually not reused.
